Python Job: Data Analyst

Infosys is seeking a Data Analyst. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, Ontario or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Canadian citizens and those authorized to work in the Canada are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time.

Preferred Qualification :

• Minimum of 4 years of overall relevant work experience (with a prominent focus on dataops and data analyst skills )
• Master or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
• Strong knowledge in cloud computing (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, DataBricks)
• Strong knowledge in database ( MySQL, NoSQL, etc)
• Strong knowledge about coding in Python, Java.
• Must be able to identify, analyze and interpret schema, trends, or patterns in complex data.
• Test and adopt solutions and tools that adhere to the DataOps best practices
• Improve data development and deployment processes.
• Implement data security standards that must be applied across the data pipelines.
• Build and optimize data pipelines to facilitate the extraction of data from multiple sources and load it into data warehouses.
• Use automation to streamline data processing
• Develop, implement, maintain databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
